Writ of Enforcement

A Writ of Enforcement is a document filed with the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta. After a judgment or Court Order in your favour has been filed, this document will allow for the collection of the debt owed. The Writ of Enforcement will need to be registered with the Personal Property Registry (PPR) to enforce the creditor’s interest and is effective for two years from the date of registration.
