New Urban Registry offers the following services.
Registered Office:
Every corporation must have a registered office in Alberta. This is the official address where legal documents and notices can be served. The address must be a physical location, not a post office box.
Agent for Service:
A corporation must appoint an agent for service who is responsible for receiving legal documents on the corporation’s behalf. The agent must be an individual resident in Alberta or a corporation with an office in Alberta.
Changes to Registered Office or Agent for Service:
Any changes to the registered office or agent for service must be reported to the Corporate Registry. This includes changes in address or the appointment of a new agent.
Filing Requirements:
Corporations must file a notice of change with the Corporate Registry to update the registered office or agent for service information. This ensures that the corporation remains in good standing and can be contacted for legal matters.
