Does your business have 10 or more commercial vehicles? You may qualify as a fleet. A fleet is 10 or more commercial vehicles owned by a company and actively registered at all times. A fleet can be renewed quarterly, semiannually, or annually. If you have a fleet, your registration expiry date could be March 31, June 30, September 30, and/or December 31. When your fleet registration is due, you will be sent a Renewal Listing. As the business owner or as an agent for the business, you will need to confirm that the information is correct on the Renewal Listing and indicate any additions, deletions, or modifications. Fleets are issued a Vehicle Registration Certificate. A Vehicle Registration Certificate is an official document that shows proof of valid registration in Alberta.
